(x) Bank Melli, Iran, Consecutive pair of 1000 Rials, ND (1951), serial numbers 1/318920-21,
the fronts are designed in tones of brown, yellow and pink, featuring Farsi text, as well as a portrait of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran from 1941 to 1979, in army uniform. The back was designed in violet, blue and pale yellow hues. English and Farsi text is showcased, along with an image of Mount Damavand and the Jajrood River that flows through the mountain range. Mount Damavand holds great symbolism in Iranian culture and often appears on Iranian banknotes. This historic natural landmark embodies the spirit of resistance and determination, standing as a symbol of Iran's stability through the landmarks unchanging nature. Both banknotes present a watermark of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi and are signed by Mohammad Ali Bamdad and Abdol Hossein Ebtehaj,
