(x) Imperial Bank of Persia, [Top Pop] set of front and back Colour Trial Specimen 50 Tomans, ND (1890-1923),
the front note presents a vibrant blend of pink, blue, and pale green tones, contrasting with the bold solid blue design of the back colour trial specimen banknote. The front features an oval image of the Persian coat of arms, including the Kiani crown, sun, lion, and sword. Additionally, it depicts an oval portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, the longest reigning Qajar monarch from 1848 to 1896, known for his attempts at modernisation in Persia. Naser al-Din Shah Qajar is depicted in military uniform and a feathered fez indicating his role in the military and evoking thoughts of Persian heritage and royalty. The back colour trial repeats the Persian coat of arms with the Kiani crown, sun, lion, and sword, and clearly displays the denomination of this specimen banknote of 50 Tomans. On both banknotes SPECIMEN has been perforated to clearly state their types,
