(x) Imperial Bank of Persia, [Top Pop] set of front and back Colour Trial Specimen 2 Tomans, 1st July 1901 / ND (1890-1923),
printed by the renowned British security printing firm, Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., established in the early 19th century and celebrated for their production of high-quality banknotes and sophisticated designs.

The 2 Toman front colour trial specimen is dated 1st July 1901. It is signed and showcases pale hues of pink, purple, and blue, deviating from the more vivid green and pink tones of the issued notes. The back colour trial presents a striking red colour instead of the typical green.

2 Toman notes were slightly larger in size than the 1 Toman notes, a characteristic of this series where the size of the notes increased with the denomination. A small perforated "SPECIMEN" is present on both notes.

Elevating their status further, both notes in this set have been distinguished by PMG as the finest examples graded to date, a testament to their exceptional condition,
