1864 "Eagles" Issue
Tepeji-Tula 1r. Blue, 4th Period, overprinted Tepeji and cancelled in that town, but consignment 61-1865 (from Tula), on entire letter dated May 15, 1865. Pietsch recorded that a few Tula stamps were sent and used in Tepeji; although 1,000 stamps were issued in Tula, only five copies from 1865 are recorded by Pietsch in the regular Tepeji consignments. Notes (probably from Bash) state "unique". Scott 21; NF $200 off-cover from Tepeji.
