1864 "Eagles" Issue
Mexico District No Overprint 3c. Brown, unoverprinted and uncanceled, with large margins all around and very fresh, top margin with small cut that touches the design. This stamp served as an experiment for local city mail, with a total of just 2,403 issued in 1865-66; the unoverprinted versions are also very scarce and are likely to be remainders.
