1842 (19 July) entire from Havana addressed to London marked Per Str. Taviot showing on the reverse a very neat strike of the despatch havana double ring in black (type CDS1), on the front straight-line habana handstamp in black, the reverse with London (14.8) arrival datestamp. A fine and a scarce combination, the second month of usage of the CDS1 in black.
