4c. black on blue
4c. black on blue with good to large margins, initialled "E.D.W.", cancelled by Berbice double-arc d.s. for 28 July 1857; some light creases and surface rubbing though a presentable example of this very rare stamp, which is typically affected by faults. Only about twelve used examples are known, of which six are cut square, making this one of the rarest stamps of British Guiana and a great rarity of worldwide philately. S.G. 26, £150,000. Photo
