12c. black on blue Type B, without initials, cut square with virtually complete outer frameline (touched at left), cancelled by light Demerara double-arc d.s. for 10 June 1851; slight thinning at top due to hinge removal, not detracting from a cut-round example, which is mainly found with imperfections. Very rare, with cut-round examples being even scarcer than cut-square ones, despite the latter being catalogued at a higher value. B.P.A. Certificate (1959). S.G. 5I, £35,000. Photo
