Queen Victoria
1887 Engraving of Queen Victoria titled "The Queen, Empress of India 1877", signed in ink to the lower right "Victoria R.I 1887", in a heavy mount (with the remains of an earlier mount not visible). Queen Victoria was declared Empress of India on 1 May 1876 and the new title was proclaimed at the Delhi Durbar on 1 January 1877.
The print is "Engraved by F. Holl from a Picture by H. von Angeli" (mount 17x14 inches). Signed engravings of Queen Victoria are uncommon.
