Funeral banner on silk, with a gilt fringe, the Duke's crest embroidered at the top of a Maltese cross within which there is his field marshal's baton surmounted by a coronet.. Frayed, framed and glazed with a note on the reverse of the frame "Funeral banner flag of Arthur Wellesley Duke of Wellington, who died 14th December 1852 aged 83". Framed and glazed, worn (30x34 inches)
