1774 (25 Feb.) letter in French signed "George R" from St. James' to "The Queen of Sardinia" announcing the birth of a Prince, King George III's son, Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge; archival meshing with album page leaving address panel clear with two red wax seals and remnants of pink silk tie. Fine and scarce.
