Dix inscription) endorsed with Batchelder's Express manuscript express company marking, addressed to 'Flathead Country', Wash., bearing 3c. dull red tied by blue grid with adjacent Keokuk Iowa d.s., also 'DUE 7' (of San Francisco), re-rated by Batchalder's '50 CTS' IN MS., 'VIA WALLA-WALLA', slightly reduced at right, some edgewear, roughly opened still of fine appearance.
