1892-1931 postal history selection (4) including 1892 (31 Oct.) "refused letter" envelope from the Dead Letter Office addressed locally, showing boxed "d.l.o./rangoon/postage due/one anna" d.s. for 3 November (Type UP2; the only recorded example); Suratee Bazar 1895 (7 Dec.) 1a. on 1½a. stationery card and 1897 (15 Nov.) envelope bearing 2½a., both addressed to France and cancelled by "soortee bazar/rangoon" c.d.s. (Type KD1; the latter the latest recorded date); Mill Road 1930 (19 June) envelope to India bearing, on reverse, 1a. tied by "mill road/rangoon" segmented datestamp (Type KD2). The only recorded cover; Rangoon 1931 (11 Dec.) envelope registered from London to Rangoon, bearing GB ½d. and 4d. clearly tied by "burma round table conference/s.w.1" c.d.s.; also unstamped envelope posted within London with printed "Burma Round Table Conference." at lower left and showing special oval cachet. Mixed condition, a useful selection.
