1915 (25 Dec.) envelope from the Prince of Wales to "The Rev. The Sub-Dean. K.C.V.O. D.D., St. James Palace", marked "By Messenger" and initialled "E" in the lower left corner with "london official paid/18" d.s. in red and double ring oval "war/office" handstamp in black to face with "army/telegraphs" in black on reverse (remnants of adhesion on reverse); also "The First or Grenadier Regiment of Foot Guards" Christmas post card to the same addressee with autograph note signed "Edward" and, on face, "XMAS 1916 [To Wish you A Pleaseant Christmas] & a happier year in 1916".
