1889 (26 Feb.) envelope addressed "On Her Majesty's Service. Her Most Gracious Majesty. Queen of England. Windsor Castle" bearing 1d. lilac (2) tied by Watford duplex; the reverse with note in separate hand "Decline. I really think we had better leave this lunatic alone if he cant write more decently to his Sovereign he do without any reply!". Some peripheral faults though most unusual.
