1587 (13 Feb.) entire letter from Niccolo Cefdos to Bartolomeo Corsini in London endorsed by the sender "conto delle yr fatte in spagna nel caricare Laneil giona" (the expenses of loading the ship, 'Joas' in Spain); lengthy contents over two pages include a Pilot's fee at Margate of 2/2d. and set out Cefdos' land journey via "Canterberi, Settingborne, Rocester and Blackwall". A very fine and most unusual item shedding such light on the minute detail of Corsini trade
