1839-66, a range of entire letters (10) from Pondicherry (2), both with "bureau de pondichery" d.s., one with "mottet pernon &co./pondichery" cachet in blue, 1863 and 1866 entires from Bombay to France, 1839 and 1841 (2) entires, all with boxed "paquebots/de la/mediterranee", one with "madras/steam letter" d.s., another with "steam postage" and another with superb "forwarded by/bombay/thos jefferies&co." cachet, 1877 (Aug.) entire bearing 1a. and 2a. pair with "sea/post office/b." marking, and 1842 entire with "joyenagore boxed d.s. Some minor faults though generally fine strikes.
