George IV (1820-1830), Halfcrown, 1820, laureate head left, rev. crowned lightly garnished shield, edge straight milled, 14.12g, 6h (ESC 628; Bull 2357; S.3807), small scratch in front of eye, otherwise with fiery cabinet tone and residual lustre, a pleasing extremely fine, and struck for the last occasion before 2022 when the British specie bore two different monarchs in a single calendar year, historic thus!
