George III (1760-1820), Sixpences, 1787 (2), young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, stop above head, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, with hearts, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 3.01g, 6h (ESC 1629; Bull 2190; S.3749), lightly cabinet toned and lustrous, much as struck; another, similar, no hearts, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 3.00g, 12h (ESC 1626; Bull 2187; S.3748), cabinet toned and lustrous with delightful blue hues, a pleasing extremely fine; lastly, Threepence, 1762, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned denomination, edge plain, 1.43g, 6h (ESC 2033; Bull 2254; S.3753), toned, very fine (3)
