George III (1760-1820), Shilling, 1787, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, stop above head, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, with hearts, with stops at date, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 6.02g, 6h (ESC 1225; Bull 2129 but only seven strings listed; S.3746), small carbon spot on reverse, otherwise richly and colourfully cabinet toned and lustrous, much as struck
