George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Crown, 1743 DECIMO SEPTIMO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses in angles, ten strings to harp, six hearts, downwards lettered edge, 30.08g, 6h (ESC 124; Bull 1667; S.3688), superficial residue deposit behind head that could be removed, otherwise with much lustre and attractive cabinet hues, a really bold very fine, the reverse better
