Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, VIGO Crown, 1703 TERTIO, first draped bust left, VIGO below, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, upwards lettered edge, 30.01g, 6h (ESC 99; Bull 1340; S.3576), subtle adjustment marks on shoulder and cheek, otherwise a spectacular example of this famous and celebrated Newtonian specie, fully cartwheel lustrous and sumptuously and colourfully cabinet blue toned, a really good extremely fine and truly much as struck, very rare thus
