William III, Solus (1694-1702), Exeter Sixpences (2), 1696 E, first laureate and draped bust right, E below, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, three strings to early harp, large crowns, eight billets, edge obliquely milled, 2.93g, 6h (ESC 1537; Bull 1277; S.3523), light adjustment marks on drapery on obverse and obscuring date on reverse, otherwise richly cabinet toned, good very fine; another, 1697 E, similar, four strings to late harp, large crowns, six billets, edge obliquely milled, 2.90g, 6h (ESC 1559; Bull 1280; S.3530), fiery cabinet toned and residually lustrous, good very fine (2)
