William III, Solus (1694-1702), Exeter Halfcrown, 1697 E NONO, laureate and draped bust right, E below, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, no stops after MAG, FRA, and HIB, six strings to large late harp, seven billets, downwards lettered edge, 14.82g, 6h (ESC 547; Bull 1078; S.3490), a small coining split at 2 o'clock, and typically soft of strike, otherwise handsomely lustrous and rainbow cabinet toned, very fine / extremely fine
