William and Mary (1688-1694), 'Maundy Set', 1694, consisting of: Fourpence, Threepence, Twopence and Penny, conjoined busts right, rev. crowned mark of value, edges plain (ESC 2388; Bull 876; S.3446), including, Fourpence, first A of MARIA an inverted V (ESC 1879; Bull 901), rubbed but cabinet toned, fair to almost fine, the variety clear; and, Threepence, GVL below truncation (ESC 1998; Bull 941), scratched and rubbed, colourfully toned, fair to almost fine; another, Twopence, 1694 over 3, GVLI below truncation, no stop after D G (ESC 2202; Bull 954), pierced and with light porosity, otherwise richly cabinet toned, a bolder fine, the variety clear; lastly, Penny, GVL below truncation, rev. HI for HIB, large Ts in reverse legend (ESC 2306A; Bull 985), lightly flecked, otherwise cabinet toned, very fine (4)
