Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1666 XVIII, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, 29.79g, 6h (ESC 32; Bull 366; S.3355), scratches and adjustment marks, otherwise lightly cabinet toned with underlying flare even more pleasant in-hand, almost very fine, rare, and poignant being struck in the year of the Great Conflagration of London
