Commonwealth (1649-1660), Halfpenny, Tower, English shield in beaded circle, rev. shield of Ireland in beaded circle, 0.26g, 1h (ESC 2363; Bull 230; North 2730; S.3223), struck softly to centres, otherwise lustrous and pleasantly and vibrantly cabinet toned, strictly very fine, but a truly scarce survivor from Puritan England!
