REX •:• third Equestrian Portrait of King trotting left, brandishing upright sword, sash flying behind, no caparison or ground-line, rev. (P) • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • larger oval garnished shield, plain harp, 15.264g, 5h, m.m. (P) (Brooker 354-356; North 2213; S.2778), with attractive lustrous flare on a short but regular flan of full weight, a pleasing and bolder very fine, with an interesting 19th Century hoard pedigree
