REX • fourth crowned and armoured bust right, VI behind, rev. (m.m.) • QVÆ • DEVS • CONIVNXIT • NEMO • SEPARET • square-topped shield, fourth crowned and draped bust right, value behind, rev. square-topped shield, 1606 above, 2.883g, 7h, m.m. escallop (North 2103; S.2658), slightly clipped, otherwise colourfully cabinet toned, fine to very fine, surprisingly scarce; another, 1608, as before, 2.457g, 6h, m.m. coronet (North 2103; S.2658), holed above head with historic surface marks to rubbed fields, toned, struck details fair; lastly, 1610, struck from 12 May, as before, 2.769g, 10h, m.m. bell (North 2103; S.2658), some partial striking softness, otherwise pleasingly cabinet toned, about very fine, scarce (3)
