REX • fourth crowned and armoured bust right, XII behind, rev. (m.m.) • QVÆ • DEVS • CONIVNXIT • NEMO • SEPARET • square-topped shield, 5.840g, 10h (North 2100; S.2655), a large die flaw behind head, hints of doubling to legends and an almost imperceptible "cancellation" mark across portrait, otherwise lightly cabinet toned, struck details very fine, a very scarce portrait for this pyx mark; another, similar, fifth bust, 5.877g, 8h (North 2101; S.2656), lustrous and lightly cabinet toned, about very fine; a most interesting pairing of bust varieties for this short-lived and unusual pyx-period (2)
