REX • third crowned and armoured bust right, XII behind, rev. •(m.m.)• QVÆ • DEVS • CONIVNXIT • NEMO • SEPARET, square-topped shield, plain harp, 5.840g, 12h, m.m. lys (North 2099; S.2654), die breaks through value and minor historic graffiti before bust and weakness to shield, otherwise neatly cabinet toned on a full round flan, centres fine, peripheries very fine; additionally, Sixpences, 1605, struck by 20 June 1605, Tower, third bust, VI behind (2), as before, 2.587g, 12h, m.m. lys (North 2102; S.2657), colourfully retoned, otherwise on a full round flan, a bolder fine, an historic issue struck in the year of the Gunpowder Plot; another as last, 2.493g, 6h, m.m. lys (North 2102; S.2657), crimped and creased, mediocre, but the historic date, crisp and clear (3)
