(m.m.) CIVITAS LONDON, beaded inner circle only, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 0.439g, 2h, m.m. hand (BCW HA-1/HA-a; North 2017; S.2580), split to flan and evidence of crimping, otherwise lustrous and lightly toned, fair to fine; another, 1 February 1592 - 8 May 1594, as before, 0.543g, 8h, m.m. tun (BCW TN-1/TN-a; North 2017; S.2580), hastily pierced and plugged prior to May 1900, otherwise lightly cabinet toned, struck details bolder than fine; lastly, 9 May 1594 - 13 February 1596, as first, 0.482g, 4h, m.m. woolpack (BCW WK-1/WK-a; North 2017; S.2580), lustrous and uniformly cabinet toned, a bolder fine / very fine or better, scarce (3)
