E • D • G • ROSA • SINE • SPINA • beaded inner circle only, crowned and draped bust 3I left, rev. (m.m.) CIVITAS LONDON, beaded inner circle only, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 0.464g, 5h, m.m. rose over cross-crosslet [both sides] (BCW RS-1/RS-a; North 2001; S.2580), crimped and rubbed, toned, fair / fine; another, 1 February - 30 June 1567, another, similar, E : D : G : ROSA •. SINE : SPINA • 0.391g, 5h, m.m. lion over portcullis [both sides] (BCW LN-1/LN-a; North 2001; S.2580), creased and straightened with resultant flan split, with large area of flatness, otherwise struck details very fine, and lightly cabinet toned, scarce; lastly, 1 March 1570 - 15 December 1570, as before, legend as first, but no stop after SPINA, 0.451g, 4h, m.m. castle (BCW CA-1/CA-a; North 2001; S.2580), rubbed but cabinet toned, fine, the reverse bolder (3)
