CIVITAS LONDON, beaded inner circle only, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 0.456g, 7h, m.m. martlet (BCW MR-2/MR-a4; North 1988; S.2558), some peripheral striking softness, otherwise a handsomely sharp portrait, richly cabinet toned, a pleasing very fine, scarce in this collectable state
