REGINA, beaded inner circle, crowned and draped bust 4D left, large rose behind, rev. (m.m.) POSVI DEV .' AD-IVTORE-M • MEV .' beaded inner circle, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 15-73 above shield, 1.281g, 2h, m.m. acorn (BCW AC-1/AC-a1; North 1998; S.2566), minor dents, otherwise toned with hints of residual lustre, a really bold fine; another, 1575, as before, N over lower N in ANG, 15-75 above shield, 1.599g, 2h, m.m. eglantine (BCW EG-2/EG-f; North 1998; S.2566), rubbed to portrait, otherwise cabinet toned, scarcely fine; others, Fifth Issues, Threepences (2), 1579, as before, rev. 15-79 above shield, 1.364g, 5h, m.m. Greek Cross (BCW CR-2/CR-c; North 1998; S.2573), slightly porous with an irregular edge, bolder than fine; lastly, 1582, as last, rev. 15-82 above shield, 1.542g, 5h, m.m. sword (BCW SW-2/SW-c; North 1998; S.2573), heavily clipped, otherwise darker cabinet tone, a bolder fine (4)
