ADIVTOREM • MEV .' square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 5.714g, 10h, m.m. tun (Hawkins 440; BCW TN-2/TN-b1; North 2014; S.2577), clipped and soft in parts, fine or marginally bolder; another, 9 May 1594 - 13 February 1596, similar, 5.835g, 4h, m.m. woolpack (Hawkins 440; BCW WK-2/wk-B1; North 2014; S.2577), lightly cabinet toned, a bolder fine; another, 14 February 1596 - 7 February 1599, 5.488g, 1h, m.m. key (Hawkins 440; BCW KY-2/KY-b1; North 2014; S.2577), flan split and creased, otherwise lightly cabinet toned, only good to fair, but the mark very rare; also, Seventh Issue, Shilling, 15 May 1602 - 24 March 1603, similar, 5.767g, 11h, m.m. 2 (Hawkins 440; BCW 2-1/2-A2; North 2014; S.2584), historic scratches, yet with a golden tone and residual lustre in recesses, fine / very fine (4)
