ADIVTOREM MEV .' square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 5.699g, 8h, m.m. crescent [over escallop on reverse] (BCW CS-6/CS-a; North 2014; S.2577), some striking weakness to portrait, otherwise cabinet toned with underlying lustre, better than fine to very fine, an historic issue current at the height of the Spanish Armada
