Henry VII (1485-1509), Sovereign Pennies, York, Archbishop Rotherham, 1485-1500 (2), hENRIC DI GRA REX ANG, King enthroned facing, sceptre in right hand, rev. CIVITAS EBORACI, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, keys below shield, 0.701g, 10h ((North 1729; S.2238), crimped and clipped, otherwise toned, almost very fine; another, similar, trefoil stops in obverse legend, 0.775g, 6h, no m.m. (North 1729; S.2238), lightly clipped but handsomely cabinet toned and uniform, somewhat double-struck to reverse, otherwise a pleasing very fine for issue; additionally, London, hENRIC DI GRA REX AN, as before, two pillars, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, no marks by shield, 0.693g, 8h, no m.m. (North 1726/1; S.2228), flan split, otherwise pleasingly full and cabinet toned, struck details very fine (3)
