Henry VII (1485-1509), Second Coinage, Halfgroats, Type IIIc, London, (2), 'open' crowned bust facing, breaking double tressure, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, larger lettering, long cross pierced at terminals, trio of pellets in angles, voided lozenge at centre, 1.006g, 10h, m.m. lys (North 1709; S.2206), clipped and doubled to portrait, otherwise almost very fine; another, similar, rev. rosette stops before CIVI and LON, and after TAS and DON, smaller lettering, 0.961g, 4h, m.m. lys (North 1709; S.2206A), clipped, otherwise very fine, a surprisingly scarce variety (2)
