Henry VII (1485-1509), Second Coinage, Class IIIc, Groats (2), 1499-1502, London, crowned bust facing, breaking double tressure, double-arched, outer band jewelled, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, reading A-DIVTO-E, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 2.835g, 2h, m.m. inverted anchor (North 1705; S.2199), removed from a mount (to display CIVITAS LONDON), with resultant flan chip at 7 o'clock and 'dagger point' perforation at 1 o'clock, otherwise lightly cabinet toned, a bolder fine; lastly, 1502-1504, London, as last, but right outer jewelled band broken, 3.114g, 7h, m.m. greyhound's head (North 1705; S.2199), struck soft, otherwise richly cabinet toned, a bolder fine (2)
