Henry IV (1399-1413), Heavy Coinage, Halfpenny, 1399-1412, London, 'Early Style', + hENRICVS REX AnGLIE, crowned bust facing, rev. CIVITAS [LONDON], long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 0.579g [8.935grns], 8h (Withers 2; North 1352/3; S.1723/4), on an elliptical planchet, otherwise attractively cabinet toned, with an especially strong portrait for issue, a pleasingly bold very fine, very rare, especially in this state!
