CIVITAS LONDON, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 0.615g [9.491grns], 4h (North 1100/2; S.1540), minor planchet splits on an irregular flan, otherwise good fine; another, Third 'Florin' Coinage, Halfpenny, 1344-1351, London, similar, EDWARDVS REX, 0.593g [9.151grns], 5h (North 1131; S.1557), on a full flan, toned, good fine; also, Fourth Coinage, Halfpenny, London, EDWARDVS REX AN, 0.450g [6.945grns], 12h (North 1171; S.1607), cracked and with clashed dies, otherwise cabinet toned, struck details about very fine; additionally, Richard II (1377-1399), Halfpennies, London (2), Intermediate Style, Lombardic Ns in London, 0.542g, 12h (North 1331b; S.1699), clashed dies, toned, fine or marginally better; lastly, Type IV, RICARD x' REX : ANGLI, saltire stops and shorter, stubbier lettering, portrait in the transitional style of Henry IV, 0.568g [8.766grns], 10h (Withers II, 5a; North 1332c; S.1700A), light porosity, otherwise pleasantly cabinet toned, a scarce little coin that is unusually legible for type (5)
