George III (1760-1820), Pattern Bronzed Halfpenny, 1790, Soho, by Droz, in bronzed-copper, laureate bust right, DROX F incuse on truncation, three diamond stops and a flower in legend, rev. Britannia seated left on globe, laurel branch behind shield, quatrefoils flanking date, 16.40g, 6h (BMC [Peck] 953; S.-), pitting to both sides, more so before the bust, reverse better, evenly toned with chocolate hues, strict very fine
