Henry II (1154-1189), 'Tealby' Penny, 1158 - c. 1163, Class A1, Bury St Edmunds, Willem, + [hENRI RE]X ANGL, crowned bust three-quarters left, no hair or collar, mantle falls from chin, cross pattée-tipped sceptre in left field, rev. + WILLEM : SC : ON : ED, short cross potent, cross pattées in angles, 1.36g, 8h (Eaglen 51, B278, dies Bb [Sale, lot 389] = FEJ 1117[b] this coin; North 952/1; BMC 43; S.1337), struck a trace off centre with resultant softness, otherwise of excellent metal, richly cabinet toned, very fine, the reverse engraving error unusual
