NGC MS62 | James I (1603-1625), Third Coinage, Crown Gold Issues, Half-Laurel, 18 June 1624 - 7 July 1625, Tower, (m.m) IACOBVS D : G : MAG : BRI : FRA : ET HI : REX, fourth laureate and draped bust left, X value behind, rev. HENRIC .' ROSAS REGNA (m.m) IACOB .', stops after HENRIC and IACO, long cross fleury over large crowned square-topped Royal shield, bird-headed harp with six strings, 4.46g, 1h, m.m. trefoil (Schneider II, 92; North 2117; S.2641A), striking softness to peripheries and with minor die lamination flawing before and to portrait, nonetheless a most pleasing example, with a light golden tone overlying sharply struck devices, strictly good very fine, but quite exceptional for issue, in NGC holder, graded MS62 (Cert. #8220522-013)
