NGC XF | James I (1603-1625), Third Coinage, Crown Gold Issues, Laurel, 3 September 1619 - 23 June 1620, Tower, (m.m) • IACOBVS D : G : MA : BRI FRAN : ET HI REX, reversed N, first large laureate and draped bust left, XX value behind, rev. FACIAM EOS : INGENTEM VNAM (m.m), reversed N's, long cross fleury over large crowned square-topped Royal shield, bird-headed harp with seven strings, 8.64g, 10h, m.m. mullet (Lingford II, 1067; Schneider II, 82; North 2111; S.2637), wiped and partially clipped, nonetheless with most pleasing toning to devices and highly unusual with the Reversed N's for IN GENTEM VNAM, the portrait approaching very fine, the reverse bolder still, in NGC holder, graded XF Details ~ Edge Filing (Cert. #8220522-006)
