REX •, fourth crowned and armoured bust right, holding sword and sceptre, rev. (m.m) • FACIAM • EOS • IN • GENTEM • VNAM •, crowned and lightly garnished shield, dividing I-R, 9.83g, 9h, m.m. rose (Lingford II, 915 this coin; Schneider II, 23; North 2084; S.2619), faint hairline scratches to eye and residual deposits to reverse, otherwise a pleasingly uniform and centred strike, with a rich red tone to reverse, almost extremely fine, a lovely cabinet coin with a fine pedigree, in NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #8220522-012)
