(g) NGC MS64+ | Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Half-Sovereign, 1838, Type A1, first small young head left, plain on truncation, rev. crowned shield on mantle, edge milled, 3.99g, 6h (MCE 561; Marsh 414; Bentley; S.3859), light pinmarking in the fields, nevertheless with a full mint bloom and handsome orange toning to the peripheries of rich golden surfaces, good extremely fine, in NGC holder, graded MS64+ (Cert. #6767931-002)
