(g) NGC MS63 | Victoria (1837-1901), 'Jubilee Head' Sovereign, 1887, "First Legend" Type, London, struck at the Royal Mint between 4 and 28 June, D: G: far from crown, 'Jubilee' bust left, hooked J. E. B., stops in line with base of widely-spaced letters all entered by hand by William Poplett, rev. St. George and Dragon, horse with 'short' tail, edge milled, 7.99g, 12h (DISH L2 [R5] ~ Iverson Collection -; Marsh 125A; S.3866D), some surface marks, otherwise quite brilliant, near extremely fine for strike, and an extremely rare die pairing, unrepresented in the Iverson Reference Collection, in NGC 'Francis' holder, graded MS63 (Cert. #5879380-015)
