The L'Abbaye Collection: Part Two | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Shilling, 1741, larger lettering, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, seven hearts to semée, roses in angles, smaller Garter star, edge obliquely milled, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 339; ESC 1202; Bull 1717; S.3701), richly cabinet toned and lustrous, a most pleasing and wholesome good very fine
